Project
A landing for Ormella, an interior design studio that designs every room for the hour it is lived in most. The first screen switches one room between 07:40, 13:00 and 19:10.
Task
Interior studios are compared by photos, and a photo shows a room at its best minute. A buyer cannot see how a kitchen feels at breakfast or how a living room holds the last sun, so the choice comes down to style and price.
We had to show light, the one thing a still image cannot, without turning the page into a gimmick.
Solution
The first screen is the room itself under a huge wordmark, with three hour buttons. One tap and the same room moves from morning to midday to evening, so the visitor sees light before reading a word.
Below, three projects are labelled with their hour: salt house 07:40, low tide 13:00, ember 19:10. A sun-path plan shows how the studio decides: it follows the sun across your windows before it chooses furniture.
What was hard
Three light states can read as three different photos and weaken the idea.
A very large wordmark and a calm interior can fight each other.
How we solved it
Every hour is the same room from the same camera position, so only the light changes.
The wordmark is the only loud element. Everything else is quiet type on plaster and night tones, so the room stays the hero.
How this helps your business
A photo shows a room at its best minute, so the page shows the same room at three hours
The visitor taps 07:40, 13:00 or 19:10 and sees their own evening in the room before reading a word.
The call to action is a light visit with a clear price, credited to the project, so asking costs little and the studio is remembered for its method.
Fits if You sell spaces and light: interior design, hotels, showrooms, architecture, windows and lamps.
