Landing pages for interior design studios

A photo shows a room at its best minute. A good page shows the same room at three different hours.

Interior studios are compared by photos, and a photo cannot show how a kitchen feels at breakfast or how a living room holds the last sun. So the choice falls back to style and price.

We show the one thing a still image cannot: light. The same room from the same camera position changes with one tap, and the visitor sees their own evening before reading a word. The call to action stays small and clear, a light visit with a stated price that is credited to the project.

How we build it

  • Same room, only the light changes

Every state is shot from one position, so the three hours read as one room and not as three photos.

  • One loud element

A large wordmark carries the brand, everything else is quiet type on calm tones, so the room stays the hero.

  • Projects labelled by their hour

Each project is tagged with the hour it was designed for, so the studio’s idea of one room for one hour of the day is visible in the portfolio too.

In practice: Ormella

A landing for an interior studio: one room, switched between morning, midday and evening

Task

Interior studios are compared by photos, and a photo shows a room at its best minute. A buyer cannot see how a kitchen feels at breakfast or how a living room holds the last sun, so the choice comes down to style and price.

We had to show light, the one thing a still image cannot, without turning the page into a gimmick.

Solution

The first screen is the room itself under a huge wordmark, with three hour buttons. One tap and the same room moves from morning to midday to evening, so the visitor sees light before reading a word.

Below, three projects are labelled with their hour: salt house 07:40, low tide 13:00, ember 19:10. A sun-path plan shows how the studio decides: it follows the sun across your windows before it chooses furniture.

What was hard

Three light states can read as three different photos and weaken the idea.

A very large wordmark and a calm interior can fight each other.

How we solved it

Every hour is the same room from the same camera position, so only the light changes.

The wordmark is the only loud element. Everything else is quiet type on plaster and night tones, so the room stays the hero.
