Project
A landing for Carbonix, a maker of carbon fiber fabrics, prepregs and panels for aerospace, automotive and robotics. The page opens on a roll of fabric under a green work light and moves down into the layers of the material.
Task
Industrial buyers compare suppliers by data sheets, and in a sheet every carbon fiber looks the same. A visitor cannot see what makes one panel stiffer than another, so the choice falls to price.
We had to show the structure of the material and still keep the way to a quote short.
Solution
The technology block is a cutaway of one layered panel: woven surface, honeycomb core and base laminate. Thin lines run from each layer to its caption, because a buyer reads a part from the outside in.
Materials, applications and production follow the buyer’s own questions: what do you sell, where does it work, how is it made. Every block ends in the same button to ask for details, because an order starts with a conversation.
What was hard
Technical pages turn into walls of text that only an engineer reads.
Lines drawn over a picture fall apart when the screen gets narrow.
How we solved it
Every block carries one idea and one picture, and the captions stay short. The long data is kept for the quote conversation.
On a phone the captions leave the picture and sit under it, so nothing lies on top of the material and nothing is cut off.
How this helps your business
A buyer trusts the material they can look into
Captions are drawn onto a cutaway of the structure, so the buyer sees the woven surface, the core and the base layer in the order they work.
The quote button stays within reach on every screen, and the request form asks for the part, the volume and the timeline, so the first reply is about the part.
Fits if You sell materials or parts that a buyer has to trust before ordering: composites, metals, plastics, industrial components.
